I passed my course at Broadway Dog Grooming Academy just over a year ago, in that time i have transformed a run down shop into my very own Dog Grooming Salon! 'The Mutt Hut' has been open over 12 months and i am loving every minute of it. I never thought i would get to where i am, if you want it enough, it's possible

Adding the dog spa to Sidney & Sapphire had always been a dream. What started as a small boutique has grown into a full dog boutique and spa on Uppermill High Street, and I couldn’t be happier. We now groom five days a week, fully booking weeks in advance!
Bringing grooming into the boutique was the perfect next step—and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing support from Broadway Dog Grooming, who guided me every step of the way.

Fresh Pups Dog Grooming
I’m a lifelong dog lover with 15 years’ experience as a qualified veterinary nurse. I started working with dogs at 13 in local kennels, then moved into veterinary practice, where I qualified, completed an advanced nursing degree, and reached the finals for PetPlan’s Veterinary Nurse of the Year UK. After becoming head nurse and having my boys, I returned to emergency care before finishing my 15 years in practice. After my third little one, I changed career but stayed close to my passion for dogs—hence dog grooming! I love every day, and my only regret is not starting sooner.
I now enter grooming competitions to ensure the best care for your fur babies, and a huge thank you to Broadway Dog Grooming for their guidance and support—I couldn’t have done it without them.

It’s absolutely outstanding, I knew I wanted to change my career and work with dogs so I decided to go into dog grooming , the minute I walked in Amanda made me feel welcome and comfortable. She has taught me so much already and still helps to this day especially when I was setting up my grooming shed in my back garden . I couldn’t be more thankful and miss going there so much .

GARAGE CONVERSION
I completed my dog grooming course in June with Amanada and had my garage professionally converted into a fully equipped dog salon in preparation. Since finishing the course, I’ve been grooming dogs part-time and have steadily built up my client base.
Through consistent posting on Facebook and engaging in local community forums, I’ve have nearly 4 to 5 bookings each week from my first 3 months

Since leaving Broadway Dog grooming i have successfully started my own business on the side of my full time work. Thanks to Amanda i have the skills to groom different types of dogs. I have renovated my summer house into my very own dog grooming place.
