We want your dog to look great, but we also want them to feel comfortable with us and make their grooming experience as calm and positive as we can.
Our experienced grooming team works with dogs of different breeds, sizes, coat types and temperaments from our salon in Royton.
Whether they're coming in for a bath and brush, their regular full groom, a deshed or they're a puppy experiencing grooming for the first time, we'll talk to you about what they need before we get started.

HAND STRIPPING
Does your dog have a wire-haired coat that needs hand stripping rather than clipping?
Hand stripping removes the dead outer coat by hand, helping to maintain the coat's natural texture, colour and shape.
It's a traditional grooming technique for wire-haired breeds that keeps the coat looking smart and well cared for without clipping it.

We've seen a real difference when owners know how to maintain their dog's coat between appointments.
It helps you keep them fluffy for longer and can make their next grooming appointment more comfortable too.
PUPPY PACKAGE
Every dog will need some form of grooming throughout their life.
Getting your puppy used to the salon, being handled and hearing grooming equipment from an early age can help build their confidence around the process.
That's why we don't try to throw everything at them during their first appointment.
Our Puppy Package takes place over three sessions, each spaced two weeks apart and lasting up to 45 minutes.
We take things gradually and tailor the sessions around your puppy's individual temperament and how they're responding.
THREE SESSIONS
Over three sessions, spaced two weeks apart, lasting up to 45 minutes each, we ensure a gradual and comfortable introduction.
First Session:
Acquainting your puppy with our salon environment, facilities, and groomer.
Second Session:
Familiarising puppies with equipment, grooming tools, and handling noise sensitivities. We also assess their comfort with entering and exiting bathing areas.
Third Session:
Review and execute a puppy trim, encompassing a bath, eye area tidy, ear cleaning, paw trimming, and hygiene care.

All dogs are health-checked prior to grooming, allowing us to assess your dog's skin condition, check their coat, and offer advice if we notice anything that requires attention. This could range from ear infections to skin problems, abscesses, or other abnormalities that are often overlooked by dog owners. It also provides us with an opportunity to understand your dog's specific needs, collaborate with you to create a customized groom that suits them, and aligns with your preferences.
Before We Start
Every dog is health checked before their groom.
We'll look at their skin and coat and talk to you about anything we notice that might need your attention.
That could include signs of an ear infection, skin problems, abscesses or other abnormalities you may not have spotted.
We'll also use this time to understand your dog's individual needs and talk to you about the groom you'd like.
That way, before we start, we both know what we're working towards.
